Madagascar Rosewood is one of the most desired and wildly figured back & side woods for an acoustic guitar. It offers great bass response, with an equally dynamic high-end- not found in East-Indian Rosewood. Madagascar is the modern equivalent of Brazilian Rosewood- which is found on many of vintage acoustics, and is extremely rare today.
